| Duration: |
| IATA/UFTAA Foundation Diploma level is six months duration.
Every year, the course commences in mid March and mid
September. Admissions for each batch will be finalized in
February/ March and August/September respectively. |
| Examination: |
| IATA/UFTAA conducts the examination world wide in mid March
and September, every year. The exam centre for our students
will be at Cochin. |
| About Course |
| Chavara School of Tourism Studies is one of the Best Schools

of pass in the IATA/UFTAA Foundation results. The Diploma will
awarded by IATA/UFTAA from Montreal, Canada. This is an
International Diploma recognized throughout the world and

| The IATA Foundation Diploma Course consists
of two papers. |
| Paper 1. Air Fares & Ticketing –
Calculation of air fares and issue of air ticket and EBT
Electronic Booking Tool making of airline/HTL/CAR
reservations. |
| Chavara School of Tourism Studies has come
to agreement with Galileo India, a pioneer and widely used
Global Distribution System who in turn will conduct an
examination and issue their Certificate to our students which
will be an additional qualification for our students when they
attend the interviews. |

Paper 2. General Knowledge - which related
to Travel and Tourism, 180 questions of objective type
covering Map reading, European Rly Time Table, Tours, and
Cruises and matters related to Travel & Tourism.
